Support Our Mission

Platinum Transparency 2025 by Candid. For nearly 30 years, the Center for Child & Family Health has been at the forefront of evidence-based interventions in abuse, neglect, and other childhood traumas.

Today, our treatment and prevention programs reach more than 1,500 children in Durham and surrounding communities. We also train thousands of child-serving professionals each year throughout North Carolina and beyond in the same highly effective practices we use, steadily improving access to trauma-informed care and services for thousands of children and families.

Charitable support is vital to these accomplishments, and we invite you to invest in our mission.

Ways to Give

There are many ways you can support our care for children and families. Here are some helpful guidelines on the most common types of gifts.

Monetary Gifts

You can make a gift via credit card on our secure online donation form. For gifts via check, please make your check payable to “Center for Child and Family Health, Inc.” and mail it to:

Center for Child & Family Health
1121 W Chapel Hill St, Suite 100
Durham NC 27701

If needed, our Federal Tax Identification Number is 58-1446309.

Recurring Gifts

Establishing an automatic gift on a monthly basis is a great way to provide ongoing, sustaining support for CCFH. To set up a recurring gift, select “Monthly” from the Donation Frequency dropdown menu on our online donation form.

Matching Gifts

If your employer has a matching gift program, you can double your support for CCFH. Request a matching gift form your company’s human resources department. If asked to send the form to the benefiting charity, you may mail it to the address above or email it to development@ccfhnc.org.

State Employee Giving Campaigns

CCFH was approved to join the 2025 employee giving campaign for the state of North Carolina. If you are a state employee or retiree, you can now donate to CCFH via payroll deduction or annuity. More information about the program can be found here.

Gifts in Honor/Memory

We welcome gifts made in honor or memory of someone important to you. Please indicate the person’s name in the online donation form or the subject line of your check.

If you would like us to notify the honoree or their family of the gift, please provide a name and mailing address. We will not disclose the amount of your gift in our letter to the honoree.

Gifts of Items

CCFH is able to accept donation of some items and goods for meeting material needs of the families we serve. Please contact the Development Office at (919) 385-0738 to discuss the in-kind gift you have in mind.

Gifts of Stock

Giving stock can have tax advantages, especially if the stock has increased significantly in value since purchase. If you would like to make a gift of stock, please contact the Development Office at (919) 385-0738, click below to make a gift of stock online, or complete this form.

Please note: it is our policy to sell gifts of stock immediately upon receipt.

IRA Charitable Rollover

If you are age 70½ or older, you are allowed to transfer up to $100,000 directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) every year. This counts toward your required minimum distribution, and you will not need to claim it as taxable income on your tax return for the year.

To make a gift to CCFH out of your IRA, confer with your financial advisor or account manager.
