We offer the following support at no cost to families:

Individual Support & Assessment

Whether you need answers to questions, referrals to community resources, or expert advice on your child’s behavior, fill out our online referral form. One of our clinicians will contact you within two business days.

Our team also offers comprehensive assessments for families concerned about their child’s adjustment. Getting the right services for your child begins with a clear understanding of symptoms and underlying reasons for behaviors. For more information or to schedule an assessment with one of our clinicians, call the Post Adoption Support Services Line and leave a message.

Social Support

Build your network of support by meeting other adoptive families! Through fun family outings, and local support groups, you can spend time with families who understand the special challenges and joys of adoption. Learn more and view upcoming social support events.

Workshops

We offer a number of educational workshops for adoptive families on topics of interest, such as transracial adoption, parenting a child with difficult behaviors, and healing from childhood trauma. Learn more and view upcoming workshops.

Annual Parent Conference

Post Adoption Support Services offers an annual parent conference each spring. The conference provides parents with valuable information and community resources to support them in their journey as an adoptive parent. It is free for adoptive parents in our service area. Learn about the upcoming conference.
