Workforce Wellness Webinars

As the work continues to support children and families during the COVID-19 pandemic, we acknowledge the demand on the workforce. It is time to pause and check in with ourselves and the workforce to ensure wellness strategies are being encouraged.

The NC Trauma-Informed Communities Project created a two-part series, Workforce Wellness in Times of Uncertainty, to help child-serving professionals:

Part 1

Part 1 of the series focuses on building awareness of workforce stress (including compassion fatigue and secondary traumatic stress), racism and workforce stress, and self-reflective activities.

Part 2

Part 2 of the series shares individual and community/agency wellness techniques to combat workforce stress and promote wellness from diverse ways of healing and balance.

Funding is wholly or in part provided by the NC Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities & Substance Abuse Services through the federal Community Mental Health Services Block Grant (CFDA #93.958).
