Online Parent Information & Support Group

Something happened to my child… Now What?

The Urbaniak Clinic is offering a free group for those parenting children and teens who experienced traumatic, scary, or challenging life events, such as sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, witnessing domestic violence, death/incarceration/serious illness of a caregiver, foster care placement, or community violence.*

We will provide support and practical tips to answer your questions, like:

Should kids talk about what happened to them?
Are my child’s challenging behaviors connected to their experiences?
How can I help?

And you can connect with other parents going through this, too. Our team specializes in trauma-informed care for these situations.

Join us at one of our bi-weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 7:30pm via Zoom: November 3, November 17, December 1, and December 15. After December 15, meetings will resume on a bi-weekly basis from January 12 – March 23, 2022. Registration is encouraged.

*This group is not intended for those parenting children whose biggest concern is divorce/separation.
