
Dr. Megan Lyons joined the CCFH Board as a North Carolina Central representative in 2024. She is currently an assistant professor at North Carolina Central University in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, Dr. Lyons is the Co-Founder of SEL4NC and is a member of the Education Preparation Trauma-Informed Task Force. Prior to her transition to higher education, she served as Career Technology Intervention Coordinator in Fulton County Schools. Her research interests include social emotional learning and culturally responsive pedagogy.
