Sara Skinner, LCSW, is a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker with the Center for Child & Family Health’s Urbaniak Clinic and a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Social Work. Ms. Skinner provides evidence-based trauma treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. She is rostered in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS). Ms. Skinner has also received training in Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and the Positive Parent Program (Triple P Level III). Ms. Skinner provides clinical supervision to Master’s level student interns within the Urbaniak Clinic. She has a particular passion for working with adolescents, immigrants, and LGBTQ individuals and families.
