The Healthy Futures Fund

• Goal $200,000 annually
Provides a source of funding for treatment that is not covered by Medicaid or other insurance. CCFH’s services for children require approximately 30 percent more time and effort than treating adults with similar diagnoses, because they must involve the children’s support system of parents, teachers, pediatricians, and other community providers. Medicaid or other insurance does not reimburse this time.

The Healthy Futures Endowment

• Five-Year Goal $4 million
An endowment of $4 million will provide $200,000 in annual support to ensure adequate and ongoing resources to provide comprehensive state-of-the-art medical and mental health services for abused and traumatized children. CCFH seeks outright gifts or pledges that may be paid over three or five years.

Founders’ Endowments

• Five-Year Goal $750,000 total
In honor of our founders, Tom Frothingham, MD, of Duke University, Desmond Runyan, MD, of UNC-Chapel Hill, and Cheryl Amana, JD, LLM, of NC Central University, CCFH seeks to create three endowments of $250,000 each. Funds generated by the endowments will support the program of each founder’s choice.

The CCFH Unrestricted Fund

• Goal $200,000 annually
Unrestricted support is critical to CCFH’s commitment to serve all children and families, regardless of ability to pay. These dollars fill gaps in funding for innovative grant-supported projects and provide flexibility to respond to needs within CCFH and the community.
