Welcome to the Center for Child & Family Health! The Center for Child & Family Health (CCFH) offers diagnostic, treatment, and preventive services for children at risk of experiencing trauma. We host a variety of major research projects to better understand trauma, violence, crime, and bereavement issues that relate to children. The Center has earned the respect of the local and regional community, and is a model that can be used on a national level to change the way we deal with child abuse. During the 2007-08 fiscal year, we provided direct mental health services for 2,850 children and family members. We trained over 2,500 professionals and para-professionals across the state and nation, bringing the number of children benefitting from our efforts close to 16,000. Committed to improving care for traumatized children, CCFH remains one of the few providers in the nation with an extensive multidisciplinary specialization in caring for youth who present with complex backgrounds of adversity.
